KATHMANDU, April 13: Nepal's ambassador-designate to France Dipak Adhikari presented his letters of credentials to French President Emmanuel Macron amid a function held at the Élysée Palace on Friday.
On the occasion, the ambassador conveyed President Bidya Devi Bhandari's message to her French counterpart. In her message, the president has expressed best wishes to personal well-being of the French president and continued progress and prosperity of the French people.

While thanking the Nepali president for her wishes, Macron asked Ambassador Adhikari to convey his greetings and wishes to President Bhandari and the people of Nepal, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Paris.
Adhikari told the French president that Nepal and France have been organizing various programs to observe their 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The French president expressed happiness at the growing relationship between France and Nepal.
