BHAKTAPUR, Oct 8: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his confidence that all three elections will be held within the stipulated time. 

President Deuba said so during a greetings exchange and felicitation program organized by the Madhyapur Thimi Town Committee in Bhaktapur today. 

Urging the public not to habour doubts on timely completion of the elections, Deuba further asserted his confidence that NC is capable of fulfilling the responsibility of conducting elections at local, provincial and federal levels. 

The former Prime Minister instructed his party cadres to gear up for preparations for the same stating that the NC should assume the leadership role to lead the country towards prosperity. 

The program was attended by parliamentarians Rameshwor Dhungana, Dr Manmohan Bhattarai, NC Bhaktapur Chapter President, Durlav Thapa, Nepal Student Union President, Nain Singh Mahar and NC Madhyapur Town President, Surendra Shrestha among others. They univocally spoke of the need for the NC to work to create an environment for elections. 

On the occasion, NC President Deuba felicitated 27 NC members from Madhyapur Thimi who were actively involved in the 'Satyagraha' movement in 1985. RSS
