KHOTANG, Aug 5: Air service, obstructed due to fog, has been resumed at Manamaya Rai Khanidanda Airport in Khotang district after around one month.
The air service was obstructed from July 14. Mostly, patients referred from the District Hospital, have been benefitted after the resumption of air flights.
Manamaya Rai Khanidanda Airport Chief Yadavsen Rai said that air flights have been resumed in a regular basis after weather at airport premises gets improved.
The Nepal Airlines Corporation has been operating Kathmandu-Khanidanda-Kathmandu flights on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday while Biratnagar-Khanidanda-Biratnagar on Tuesday and Friday.
Similarly, Tara and Goma airlines have also been operating the air service there.
There are Lamidanda and Thamkharka airports along with Khanudanda in the district. Of them, Thamkharka airport has been closed since second week of June. RSS
