UDAYAPUR Jan 13: A three-day Agricultural Fair is being held at Triveni of Triyuga Municipality, Udayapur coinciding with the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
The District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Udayapur is organizing the district level agricultural fair with support of dozens of social organizations of the district.
The Fair will be held until January 15, DADO, Udayapur Chief, Saroj Kant Adhikari said. The Fair will present 27 stalls displaying products of the district's farmers and other agricultural tools.
Around a hundred farmers including 30 different farmers' association of the district will exhibit their products which include various crops, vegetables, fruits and fishes among other commodities, DADO, Udayapur's Crop Development Official, Bishwo Raj Dhungana said.
The Fair will also exhibit new technologies and agro tools related to Climate Change. The organizers expect more than a 1,000 locals and farmers to attend the fair during which outstanding farmers will be conferred awards. RSS
