Agreement with Gezhouba Group for Budhi Gandaki project canceled

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: A Cabinet meeting on Monday has canceled the agreement with China Gezhouba Group Corporation in principle to let the Chinese company build the 1,200 MW project under the engineering, procurement, construction, and finance (EPCF) model of project development.



Kamal Thapa, the President of Rastriya Prajatantra Party tweeted to confirm the decision passed by the cabinet this morning on the basis of inconsistency and approximation.
