KATHMANDU, Oct 30: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that there is no possibility for early elections and that an agreement has already been reached among the coalition partners to join hands to contest the upcoming elections.

“There will be no early elections. First of all, there is no provision for that in the constitution. Secondly, early elections are not held based on the decision of the Supreme Court. There is nothing to be confused about,” Dahal said.

Speaking with media persons at the Janakpur Airport on Saturday, Chairman Dahal said that the ruling alliance will soon discuss the issue concerning the judiciary, as some leaders are out of the capital.

Furthermore, Dahal claimed that an agreement has been reached among the ruling alliance to keep the alliance intact in the elections to the national assembly. He also said that they are ready to move the process of citizenship bill ahead even if they have to bring an ordinance for that.
