BHAKTAPUR, Feb 11: The employees of the National Examination Board have postponed their agitation after an agreement was reached on Thursday’s talks between the employees and NEB management.
The agitation started by the Central Committee of the NEB Employees' Union on Wednesday was postponed after an agreement was reached on Thursday, said President of the Union Narendra Prasad Dhakal.
The Union had started agitation on Wednesday saying that it had submitted a five-point demand letter to the NEB member-secretary Durga Aryal on August 9 but the board ignored its repeated demands.
After the management held talks with the employees who suspended the work of the board on Wednesday and today, a five-point agreement was reached and further agitation programs were also postponed, said Dhakal.
