DANG Jan 12: One person died from cold today at Gadhawa of Dang. 

The victim has been identified as Jokhu Chaudhary, 71, of Gadhawa Rural Municipality-1, according to the area police office Gadhawa. He was physically disabled and unmarried. He succumbed after being deprived of proper care in the cold as nobody was there to look after him. 

His nephews with whom he was staying are currently in India in connection of employment. According to locals, he even did not have winter clothes. RSS
