LEKHNATH, Dec 26: Khagaraj Adhikari has been elected the leader of the CPN (UML) Gandaki Province Parliamentary Party (PP). Adhikari was elected the Gandaki Province Assembly Member from Kaski-1 (1) in the province assembly elections that took place on November 20.
A meeting of the UML’s lawmakers held on Sunday in Pokhara chose Adhikari unopposed.
Of the total 60-member provincial assembly, 22 province assembly members are from the UML in Gandaki Province Assembly.
With his election as the PP leader, Adhikari is an aspiring chief minister of Gandaki Province
