KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Police personnel have been deployed at the Supreme Court premises after rumors that the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana is returning to regular work.
After the unconfirmed news that suspended Chief Justice Rana was returning to regular work at the Supreme Court without finalization of the impeachment proceedings against him, a large number of security personnel have been deployed there.
There is provision in the constitution of Nepal that the Chief Justice shall not be able to perform his duties after the impeachment proceedings have commenced.
