Litterateur Kamal Mani Dixit conferred the award on Acharya amid a function in Hetauda on Saturday.
Entrepreneur Kanhaiya Krishna Shrestha has been sponsoring the award set up by Bhim Birag Sangeet Sahitya Kala Pratisthan.
The prize carries a purse of Rs 50,000 and an appreciation letter.
Similarly, the Pratishthan also awarded journalist Sarita Dahal, satirist RC Rijal, musician Pramendra Maharjan, singer Sabina Ghalan and child talent Neema Thung.
