GAIGHAT (Udayapur), July 25: The ABC Island at Tapeshowri VDC-5 in Udayapur district has been inundated since today morning due to the continuous rain.

According to the Area Police Office, Rampur, the place is in the middle of the Saptakoshi River and the swollen Saptakoshi River has inundated it.

As many as 200 households are at high risk due to the inundation.

Although the security personnel had been trying to enter the human settlement in the Island, due to big flood they have not been able to do so.

The water of Saptakoshi River has also started gushing into the human settlement in the Island, the police said. RSS
