Aayush KC is an emerging singer. He has recently showcased his knack for singing in a popular Indian singing reality show--Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs 2019.  Originally from Bhaktapur, Aayush who secured the fourth position in the reality show made the whole nation proud. Throughout his three-month-long journey in the competition, he even garnered appreciation for his soulful voice from  legendary figures such as Anil Kapoor, Kumar Sanu, Salman Khan and more

Reminiscing one of his memorable moments being in  Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Aayush shared, “It was one of the golden periods of my time since I got opportunities to learn many things. And the meeting with Superstar Salman Khan Sir was one of my memorable moments there. It was like a dream come true for me.  Salman Sir even asked me if I were from Nepal and when  I told him ‘I’m from Nepal’, he then greeted me in Nepali saying, ‘Kasto hunu  huncha? (how are you)’.”

According to his father, Ram Krishna KC since  Aayush was a toddler he was interested in music. He added,  “Whenever there is music around him, he would show his attention toward it, either dancing or chanting the song played. Likewise, he used to pick toy musical instruments rather than usual toys. Then, he would start to play it.”. 

Before being in the reality show,  Aayush had already bagged the title of Surshala Idol, which is a national level singing competition organized by Surshala Music Academy. Currently, he is studying in grade eighth at Modern Boarding High School, Bhaktapur.
