Extinct instruments including dali, thunse, dhakar, karuwa, khoonda, dhal, tarbar, katti, harpey and musical instrument used by people from the Dhami community, dhyangro were also exhibited. Most of the items were hand-made by the students.

The exhibit also featured miniatures of the tarai, hilly and Himalaya regions along with the geographical details of tea gardens at Illam and Kanyam. Principal at the school, Bhushanta Subba, said the exhibition aimed at reflecting ancient culture and history. “The main objective is to let the children learn about our past in a participatory manner. The school family is glad that our students were successful in presenting such a beautiful exhibition,” said Subba.
