KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Activist of Samata Education Campaign Uttam Sanjel has got married. He tied the knot with Kala Adhikari, a health assistant at Samata Hospital on Monday at Guhyeshwari Temple.

The marriage that cost just Rs 300 was attended by 10 guests including Madan Krishna Shrestha, Hari Bansha Acharya, Upendra Mahato, Guna Raj Luitel, Subash Ghimire, Pratik Pradhan, Sita Ram Kattel among others. The whole rituals were completed in five minutes. One kilo of sweet, which was sponsored by Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya, was offered to the invitees.

Sanjel has been running the education campaigns for 65 thousand underprivileged students of all 77 districts across the country and also of India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
