A national campaign ‘Visit Nepal Year 2020 (VYN 2020)’ is collaborating with production unit of a Chinese film makers interested to shoot movies in Nepal.

VYN 2020 committee organized a press meet on Tuesday to introduce a film unit comprising directors Kim Kong and Elaine King, actress Selina, writer Ray Chen, producer Weng Wen Boo and assistant director Eldwise.
The film unit visited some tourist destinations of the country- Bandipur, Chitwan, Pokhara, and Kathmandu. Secretary of VYN 2020 campaign committee, Nandini Lahe Thapa informed that the film revolves around spiritual theme and hence Nepal was chosen. She further stated that the film will help to promote Nepali culture, tradition, ethnicity, and art in an international market.
“The film will also promote in sharing cross border cultures of Nepal and India,” Thapa added. According to data China is second largest tourist contributor to Nepal.
