BUTWAL, Aug 21: A COVID-19 patient from Pyuthan district died at Butwal Corona Hospital on Friday morning.
A 64-year old woman from Swargadwari Municipality-7 succumbed to COVID-19 infection, according to Information Officer at Lumbini Provincial Hospital Dr Bishnu Gautam.
The deceased had tested positive for the virus on August 14. She was admitted to the hospital on August 17 after he complained of cough, fever and breathing difficulties.
The deceased woman was undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital. “She breathed her last at around 6 am this morning,” Gautam added.
With this, three COVID-19 patients have died in Butwal Corona Hospital. A total of 11 COVID-19 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
