KATHMANDU, Feb 6: A girl was killed after being hit by a tanker in Dallu, Kathmandu on Monday.
DSP Raj Babu Maharjan of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Swayambhu said that five-year-old girl Riyani Deula died when the tanker (Ba 3 Kha 5361) hit the bicycle she was riding near Chamunda School in Dallu at 10.30 am on Monday morning.
The girl, who is originally from Bhaktapur, was living in a rented house in Dallu with her family. The police said that the tanker, which was returning after supplying water to a neighboring house, hit the girl who was riding the bicycle on the road.
