The Valley’s death toll hits 112 with six new COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: The Kathmandu Valley recorded 674 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the Valley’s tally to 17,090. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 538 new cases in Kathmandu, 74 in Bhaktapur and 62 in Lalitpur were detected on Monday.

The Kathmandu Valley recorded 767 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, 711 on Saturday, 859 on Friday, 618 on Thursday, 737 on Wednesday, and 676 on Tuesday.

In just one week, the federal capital of Nepal has recorded 5,042 cases of COVID-19.

Likewise, in the past 24 hours, six people succumbed to COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley. With this, the Valley’s COVID-19 death tally now stands at 112.
