Woman found dead in pond in Kapilvastu

KAPILVASTU, Sept 18: A woman was found dead in a pond at Bichali Bhadehar in Yashodhara Rural Municipality in Kapilvastu district.

The deceased has been identified as Anita Pasi, 21. Locals had informed police after finding her mortal remains on Friday morning.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Nabaraj Adhikari said the cause of her death is yet to be determined. “We are waiting for a postmortem report,” said Adhikari. An investigation has been launched into the case.
