Palpa records yet another coronavirus-related death

PALPA, Sept 17: Palpa has recorded yet another coronavirus-related death, taking the toll in the district to three. 

A 52-year-old man from Tansen Municipality-7 breathed his last while receiving treatment at the United Mission Hospital, Tansen, on Thursday morning, according to the chief of the Public Health Office, Palpa Biswa Nath Neupane. “He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of the United Mission Hospital,” he added.

As of today, the district has reported 682 cases of COVID-19 including 609 males and 73 females. As many as 577 people who had earlier tested positive for the virus have already returned home after recovery.
