POKHARA, Sept 8: Eleven new cases of coronavirus were detected in Gandaki Province, Pokhara-based Province Health Directorate said on Tuesday.
Issuing a press release, the Directorate stated that 11 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded during PCR tests conducted at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan Medical College and Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
Of the newly-infected, six are from Nawalparasi (Susta East) and five are from Kaski, according to Directorate Spokesperson Binod Bindu Sharma.
"With this, the number of people to be infected with COVID-19 in the Province has reached 2,612," Sharma stated in the press release.
