DHARAN, July 30: One more patient has succumbed to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan.
A 45-year-old male patient from Morang district, who was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon breathed his last on Wednesday itself at 4:45 PM, said Dr Nidesh Sapkota, spokesperson for the hospital. He was brought here after Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar could not provide treatment as his health condition got worse.
With this, the BPKIHS has reported altogether three deaths of the patients while undergoing treatment due to COVID-19 infection. This is the first COVID-19 related death in Province 1.
