91 kg of marijuana recovered from Rautahat

RAUTAHAT, Jan 1: Rautahat police seized 91 kg of marijuana on Sunday. Police seized the contraband from Pipra Tole of Bhagwanpur, Rajpur Municipality 1 of Rautahat district.

After receiving information about marijuana, the police team deployed from the District Police Office, Rautahat raided an Indian Bolero jeep parked in Pipra and recovered 13 bags of marijuana. 

Police also seized a motorcycle with an Indian number plate that was lying abandoned about 10 meters south of the place where the marijuana was found. The police are investigating who the marijuana belongs to.

According to the police, they have impounded the Bolero along with the marijuana and the motorcycle, and the investigation is underway.
