DARCHULA, Feb 27: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has arrived here today to offer worship at Darchula-based Malikarjun Temple and to receive civic felicitation.

Civic felicitation is going to be offered to President Bhandari for the first time at Malikarjun.

Member of House of Representatives, Ganesh Singh Thagunna, chairperson of Malikarjun rural municipality, Narendra Singh Dhami, among others welcome President Bhandari.

President Bhandari is scheduled to offer special worship at Malikarjun Temple.

Sudurpaschim state Chief Sharmila Kumari Panta and Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim state Trilochan Bhatta, are also in Malikarjun.

Malikarjun is the famous religious pilgrimage site of Sudurpaschim state.

The government has included Malikarjun in the list of 100 tourism destinations.
