KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Manang Marshyangdi Club defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club 1-0 during the ongoing Martyrs Memorial A-Division League in Kathmandu.

For Manang, Nishan Limbu scored one goal in 57th minute of the match.  

With this win, Manang is in the third position with 28 points whereas Jawalakhel is in 6th position with 19 points. The two football clubs have played 13 matches.

Earlier today, Three Star Club defeated Chassell Youth Club 2-0. Ananta Tamang and Indian Player Lal Rammava scored one goal each for their team. With this win, Three Star has 26 points whereas Chassell has 15 points.

Also, Himalayan Sherpa has beaten New Road Team (NRT) 2-1 earlier today morning in a match held at the Satdobato-based ANFA Complex ground.

NRT took early lead with goal of Rajesh Pariyar in 30th minute of the game but it was Himalayan Sherpa which registered the win later. For Sherpa, Stephane Samir scored equalizer in 41th minute and Tridev Gurung, however, managed to score another goal for the team in injury time of first half.

Even after facing defeat, the NRT is in 9th position with 15 points and Himalayan Sherpa is in 10th position with 14 points.

Tribhuvan Army Club and Machhenndra club are competing at Dashrath Stadium for the title tomorrow.
