BHAIRAHAWA, Jan 28: Three persons died on the spot while nine others sustained injuries when three trucks collided with each other at Rohini rural municipality-4 of Rupandehi district at the Bhumahi road section at 6:30 am on Tuesday.

The loaded truck (Lu 1 Kha 6745) en route to Parasi from Bhairahawa met with an accident with other two trucks (Na 2 Kha) and (Na 5 Kha 7856) coming from opposite direction due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

The deceased are yet to be identified and four of the injured are said to be critical. They all are undergoing treatment at Vhim Hospital and Universal Medical College of Ranigaun, informed Police Inspector Keshav Gyawali, spokesperson of District Police Office.
