NC urges govt to take precautionary measures to deal with coronavirus outbreak

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: The main opposition Nepali Congress on Sunday urged the government to take necessary precautionary measures to deal with the coronavirus outbreak.

In a press statement today, the NC sought the government's efforts to rescue Nepali students and Nepali communities in Chinese universities including Wuhan city.

The virus which was originated in the Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province of China, has so far spread to six countries in the world including Nepal.

On Friday, the government had said that one person was found infected with coronavirus in Nepal.
