FM extends condolences on loss of lives, properties caused by bushfire in Australia

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali has expressed condolences over the heavy loss of lives and property in Australia due to devastating bushfire. 

Sending the condolence message to his Australian counterpart Marise Payne on Monday, Gyawali extended his condolences on the loss of lives of many people and millions of animals, irreparable loss of flora and fauna, extensive damages of properties in the wake of devastating bushfire engulfing many parts of Australia, according to a press statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday. 

Likewise, Minister Gyawali expressed his confidence that the ongoing efforts of government and the people of Australia in combating the crisis would be successful leading to the recovery of the affected areas from the tragic incident.

Australia has been ravaged by deadly wildfire since September last year killing a total of 24 people, burnt more than 2000 houses and killed millions of animals.
