Police constable killed in road accident

KALAIYA, Nov 1: An armed police constable died in a road accident in the Nijgadh-Pathlaiya road section of the East-West highway on Tuesday. 

The deceased has been identified as Binod Babu Basnet, who was based at the APF base camp in Fulgama, Mahottari, according to the District Police Office Bara. Basnet died in course treatment at the National Medical College in Birgunj. 

The accident took place as the motorcycle, Ba 1Ta 7777, that he was riding was hit by a tractor, Na 1Ta 6038, coming from the opposite direction, police said. RSS
