7 hurt in accidents

CHITWAN, Aug 30: Six persons were injured when a microbus (Ba 1 Ja 9666) fell onto the bank of Trishuli River at Kavilas VDC-4 of Chitwan on Saturday night.



Three of the injured are in critical condition. Krishnananda Mishra and Dinesh Silwal of Hetauda-9 are being treated at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur and Rabindra Pokharel, of about 15 years of age of Vyas Municipality, Tanahun, has been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment, the police said. The other injured are being treated at a local hospital.



The microbus driver and his helper have fled after the incident. Over 18 persons were on board the microbus.



Meanwhile, a child was critically injured after being hit by a motorcycle (Na 11 Pa 2022) at Ramghat in Bharatpur-4 on Saturday night. The injured is four-year-old Nikhil Chaudhary of Ramghat.
