Thapa calls on parties to quit 'dirty politics'

POKHARA, June 24: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Federal Affairs and Local Development, Kamal Thapa has called on the political parties not to indulge in 'dirty politics' that would bring political instability to the country.


Opening the third district convention of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal Kaski Friday, Thapa who is also the party chair called on the parties out of the government to join it and gear up for nation building.

 It was common responsibility of all political parties to bring happiness and smile to the faces of Nepal and economic progress and prosperity and political stability could bring cheers among the people, he said.


The local poll could be easily held within mid-December if the Local Bodies Reconstruction Commission submitted its report within mid-September. He said the date for much-awaited local elections would be announced through political consent. RSS
