KATHMANDU, Oct 15: Former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara has been produced before the Kathmandu District Court.
Mahara was arrested on October 6 on the charge of sexually harassing Roshani Shahi, an employee at the Federal Parliamentary Secretariat.
After conducting the preliminary hearing at District Attorney Office Kathmandu, Mahara was presented to the court to extend the term of detention.
Mahara who was admitted to Norvic Hospital at Thapathali after falling sick was taken to the court directly from the hospital.
