KATHMANDU, March 23 : A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Kathmandu on Monday to mark the 75th National Day of Pakistan.

Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Arshad Saud Khosa hoisted the flag and read out special messages of President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif amidst a function organized on the embassy premises.
Vice President Parmanada Jha, diplomats, Nepali dignitaries including the chief of the army sStaff, a large number of senior government officials, prominent political leaders, Pakistani community members, academicians among others attended the Pakistan Day Reception organized later in the evening.
