MUGU, Aug 27: Passengers have been left in the lurch when a Twin Otter aircraft of Nepal Airlines has shut its flight service from Nepalgunj to Mugu without any prior information since May 9 this year.
Nepal Airlines had been operating two flights a week to Rara from Nepalgunj after its successful test operation at Rara Airport of Mugu on June 2007.
With the closure of Nepalgunj-Rara flight service, the passengers have come across a tough time to travel. The airlines, which had been operating two flights a week to other districts from Nepalgunj, has not conducted its any flights to Rara for the past four months.
The general public also used to travel via Nepal Airlines for its cheaper price in comparison to other private air service providers.
