KATHMANDU, Aug 19: The government has begun a process to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Nepal Forest Corporation Limited constituted by merging The Timber Corporation of Nepal and Forest Products Development Board.
The Ministry of Forest and Environment on Sunday issued a 15-day notice, seeking application from the interested candidate(s) meeting required criteria to fight in the open competition. The Corporation was formed by integrating two organizations as per the Cabinet decision on June 6 and a notice to this regard was published in the National Gazette on July 1.
As the Ministry said, a three-member committee has been formed to facilitate the appointment process. Shortlisted candidate(s) will be summoned for the presentation of the professional action plan.
