Journalist Pudasaini suicide case: Police arrest Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Police have arrested journalists Rabi Lamichhane and Yuvaraj Kandel of News 24 television on Thursday evening.

Both journalists have been taken into custody from the office of the television station.

According to the police source, they have been arrested in connection with the suicide case of journalist Shalik Ram Pudasaini.

Journalist Pudasaini who was found hanging in a hotel of Chitwan on August 5, accused Lamichhane, Kandel and a nurse named Ashmita (Ruku) Karki for suicide in the video that was said to be taken by Pudasaini before killing himself.

Police have already arrested Karki on Thursday afternoon.
