The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) has published the results of Secondary Education Examination (SEE).

Parliamentarian calls for dissolving Guthi Sansthan

Prem Suwal has demanded to dissolve the Guthi Sansthan (corporation) which manages, conducts, and coordinates the Guthis (trusts) throughout the country. "Local bodies should be given rights to preserve the cultural heritages including Guthis instead of Guthi Sansthan," he said.

IGP Khanal calls for coordination between federal and provincial police 

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sarbendra Khanal said that there is a need for a legal provision that allows federal police to give necessary instructions regarding sensitive issues such as national security to provincial police. IGP Khanal laid emphasis on such a legal provision in anticipation of a situation in which provinces that border on India might face security threats. "Provincial police need to coordinate with federal police in certain areas considering the security challenges of the country", he said.
