Oli stresses on review of trilateral agreement between Nepal, UK and India (with video)

KATHMANDU, June 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stressed on review of the trilateral agreement between Nepal, United Kingdom and India. Prime Minister Oli while meeting with his British counterpart Theresa May at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday, reiterated on addressing the demand of British Gurkha serving in British Army to strengthen the relationship between two countries, according to Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali.

While briefing to the media after the meeting, Minister Gyawali informed that British PM May was positive with the issue and said that British Gurkha is one of the strong reasons for the strong relationship between two countries. She added that Britain will take this issue with great consideration and will work out in the future, according to Minister Gyawali.

During their half-hour meeting, the two leaders dwelled on the issues of existing bilateral relations and various ways to further expand bilateral ties, Minister Gyawali added.
