NEW DELHI, June 6: Indian Minister for External Affairs S Jaishankar will be visiting Bhutan from Friday, his maiden overseas trip after assuming the ministry.
According to the media, quoting ministry’s spokesperson Raveesh Kumar, Jaishankar, during two-days visit, would call on Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering and would hold meeting with his Bhutanese counterpart Tandi Dorji.
Kumar believed that this visit, keeping the tradition, would strengthen the bilateral relationship between two neighboring countries, according to Indian media.
