KATHMANDU, Sept 21: Samajik Youth Club has collected important three points in its tally in the ongoing Martyrs Memorial B Division League on Wednesday.  The league struggler registered its second win of the league campaign beating Bansbari Club 3-2 at ANFA Complex, Satdobato.

Bansbari took the lead with Sunil BK's goal in the 21st minute but Samajik found the equalizer in the first half as Bhuwan Basnet found the back of the net in second minute of injury time. Bhuwan took his goal tally to six in the league.

Samajik then went ahead for the first time in the match as Suresh Khatri scored a superb goal in the 79th minute. Suresh controlled a long pass with his chest, dribbled the ball past two defenders and placed the ball past goalkeeper to put Samajik in front. Bansbari leveled the score from the spot in the first minute of second half injury time with Binod Gurung converting the spot kick.

The match seemed to be heading to a draw but a brilliant left-footed finish from Subash Tamang in the injury time of the second half was enough for Samajik to grab three valuable points. The 3-2 win means Samajik has now accumulated 7 points and is level on points with Madhyapur Youth Association in the 13th position of the league table.
In other matches held at Halchowk Stadium, Nayabasti Youth Club was victorious while Divine Boys' Union Club and Khumaltar Youth Club settled for a draw.
