Four held with narcotics

KATHMANDU, Feb 21: Metropolitan Police Sector, Nagdhunga has arrested four people with a huge amount of narcotics during a security check at Nagdhunga on Thursday. 

The police arrested Manoj Barailee in possession of 27 tablets of nitravets during a security check at Thankot. According to police, Barailee was coming to Kathmandu by a bus, Lu 2 Kha 8640.

Similarly, the other arrested are Pradip Kumar Chaudhary of Siraha and Bikash Chaudhary of Sunsari. Police intercepted them in possession of 180 tablets of nitravet while they are coming to Kathmandu from Dharan in a passenger bus, Na 5 Kha 4689.

Police also arrested Rajan Tamang in possession of 3 kilograms of hashish during a security check carried out on the bus bound for Kathmandu from Makwarpur. 

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the arrested under control.
