4.6-magnitude aftershock jolts capital

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: An aftershock measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale rocked the Kathmandu Valley, sending people outdoors on Sunday night.

According to National Seismological Center, Lainchaur, the tremor was felt at 10:57 pm with its epicenter in Sindhupalchowk.

Earlier, a 4.5-magnitude aftershock had been felt with its epicenter in Dolakha on September 5.

As many as 468 numbers of aftershocks were felt following the  Gorkha earthquake that devastated Nepal on April 25 last year.
