BIRATNAGAR, Feb 2: The experts have held discussions on the establishment of a provincial level university with an objective of producing skilled manpower. 

The Ministry of Social Development of the Province-1 had formed a task force comprising experts to carry out the feasibility study for the same. 

Minister Jeevan Ghimire shared that the task force had suggested establishing the province level technical university in Ilam district to produce skilled manpower. 

Minister added that the technical university will be established there to produce skilled manpower required for the agriculture, tourism, and information technology among other areas. 

The task force has collected suggestions from different 13 districts in the province.
