KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has visited TU Teaching Hospital to express solidarity with agitating Dr Govinda KC, on Wednesday.
Upon visiting Dr KC at the hospital where he has been staging a fast-unto-death since the last 22 days, former Chief Justice Karki assured him that the government will fulfill his demands. "As they are reasonable and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is also positive about his demands," Karki said.
“Your demands are reasonable. Once they are fulfilled, it will be the victory of not only yours but that of entire 30 million people,” Karki added.
Dr KC started 16th hunger from Ilam district after the Medical Education Committee of the Parliament passed the report without incorporating his demands on January 9.
