Two dead after falling off a cliff

RUKUM, Dec 16: Two people died after falling off a cliff in East Rolpa.

The deceased have been identified as Purbir Roka, 59, of Sisne rural municipality-02 and Ramesh Sunar, 12, of Musikot municipality-07. Roka’s body was found only on Tuesday evening however it was informed that he fell off on Monday.

According to DSP Loknath Timsina, Roka’s body was found some 100 meters down the road near Pwang road section.

Likewise, Sunar fell off on Wednesday while returning from fish collection. He was severely injured and was taken to the district hospital. He died while receiving treatment.
