PM Oli resumes work partially from hospital's bed

 Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has started carrying out his duties informally from the hospital itself. Prof Dr Arun Sayami, giving information on the Prime Minister’s health condition, said the PM has started working by convening a meeting with the Ministers for Defence, Home Affairs and Energy. The Prime Minister is recuperating at the Manmohan Cardiovascular and transplant Centre at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. 

Three-member panel formed to investigate into Sarlahi incident

The Police Headquarters has formed a three-member panel to launch investigation into the killing of Nepali Congress cadre Rambilas Yadav during a violent clash between the cadres of Nepal Communist Party and Nepali Congress at Ramnagar Rural Municipality in Sarlahi on Tuesday.

The meeting of the Province no 1 council of ministers today made 12 various decisions including the formation of the provincial planning commission.

Biratnagar Titans registered their first win in the competition against Butwal Blasters by 12 runs. Biratnagar Titans had set the target of 141 runs to Butwal Blasters. In 20 overs, Biratnagar Titans scored 140 runs losing seven wickets. Butwal Blasters could only score 128 runs in 20 overs losing eight wickets.

93 percent of all children under the age of 15 are breathing toxic, polluted air: WHO

A new report from the World Health Organisation (WHO) has found that global air pollution has a vast and devastating impact on children's health. The findings reveal that 93 percent of all children under the age of 15 are breathing toxic, polluted air. That's roughly 1.8 billion children under the age of 15, and 630 million children under the age of 5 whose health and development are at serious risk.
