BAGLUNG, Oct 8: Preparations for the 22nd National Women's Volleyball Tournament slated tomorrow (October 9) in the district are all over, said the organiser, the Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA).
Galkot Municipality has provided financial support, and the District Volleyball Association has undertaken the management responsibility. The total 10 groups including three departmental teams from all seven provinces will participate in the five days competition, said President of the Association, Baglung Yam Srish.
Approximately Rs 2 million is estimated to cost the tournament. Winner will receive Rs 50,000 in cash, while runner-up Rs 30,000 and second runner-up Rs 20,000. The best player will be handed out Rs 10,000.
The best 24 players will have access to play practice matches for their entry into the national team, said the NVA. RSS
