KATHMANDU, Oct 5: The meeting between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal held at the former’s official residence in Baluwatar has decided to hold party’s central secretariat meeting on Sunday.
According to Bishnu Sapkota, press advisor to Dahal, the two leaders agreed to convene the party’s central secretariat meeting on Sunday.
During the meeting, Oli and Dahal held discussions on wide-ranging contemporary political issues including finalizing the party’s unification process at the district level.
It has been learnt that the two chairmen agreed to settle ongoing disputes regarding the party’s unification at the district level at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the meeting also dwelled on various issues including the performance of the government.
The meeting took place for nearly three hours.
This is the first meeting between the two chairmen since PM Oli returned home on Thursday after participating in the 73rd United Nations General Assembly held in New York.
