BARDIYA, Oct. 4: A rare Royal Bengal Tiger was found dead in Bardiya National Park (BNP) on Wednesday afternoon.
The dead body of spotted tiger of around 17 years was recovered near Chisapani post inside the BNP, some 700 metres away from the East-West Highway, Assistant Conservation Officer of the BNP Badri Binod Dahal said.
The officials said that the tiger would have died nearly a week ago due to natural reasons due to old age as the entire body of the tiger was completely decayed. With the latest death, the number of adult big cats in BNP has reduced to 87. RSS
